Took my first adult white belt BBJ class last night and it was awesome! The facility was super clean and very spacious, the group of guys were all friendly and eager to teach/learn. Mike Codella the owner showed me around and made me feel like a part of the family. Their schedule is great with a variety of classes to take. Excited to begin my training. Overall, I highly recommend this gym to anyone from beginner to advanced.

My son has been at Codella since he was 4 years old, he is almost 10!

He has the pleasure of training at this fantastic academy, and I can't say enough good things about it. The instructors, who are also part of a great family, truly excel in working with young students. They not only teach jujitsu skills but also instill values of respect and leadership. It's a welcoming and supportive environment that I highly recommend to anyone interested in jujitsu.

I have been intrigued with Brazilian Jiujitsu since my mid 20's and over the years I trained at many schools throughout New York and New Jersey. Unfortunately I never found a school that had what I was looking for, quality instruction and a family atmosphere. Because of this, I gave up training for years. It wasn't until I was in my mid 40's that I found the Codella Academy. Within minutes of meeting the owner, Professor Mike Codella, I felt his passion for jiujitsu and could not have felt more welcome in his Academy.
